Introduction

Hello! My name is Henry Selingo and I am a freshman at Lehigh University. I am currently enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and my major is undecided. I enjoy subjects such as math and history and I have gained a general interest in courses related to business and law.

In my time away from the classroom, I enjoy playing baseball, video games, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and watching sports. I am an avid fan of the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Eagles, and Manchester United. I am currently involved in club baseball at Lehigh University. I enjoy being able to continue playing sports in a relaxed setting without the time commitment of high school and travel sports.

I am from Shavertown, Pennsylvania which is in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at home. My family consists of my mom, dad, older brother (Jake), and myself. We also have a Tibetan Terrier named Tucker. While our family is generally small, we have a close bond and enjoy spending time together.

Although I would enjoy talking about my life both at school and home, the main focus of this blog is to discuss English 011 at Lehigh University. This blog will contain responses to readings throughout the semester as well as analysis and questions related to the readings. The blog is a key component of the English 011 class at Lehigh University and is a tool to help improve our writing and analysis skills.
